"As a therapist, I believe that people are complex; psychological problems are multi-dimensional and it is crucial to value and respect differences by tailoring support to meet individual needs. Therefore, I am flexible and use different perspectives according to what is most useful for particular clients. The foundation of my work is 'Person Centred' because research shows that across all therapies, the relationship between client and therapist is the largest contributing factor to change and this has been true in my experience."
"I am very approachable and am a naturally caring, empathic and intuitive person who is passionate about helping people through obstacles that may be blocking their sense of self-worth and the realisation of their full potential. Over the years, I have supported clients struggling with a variety of issues and every person I have worked with has stretched me in new ways. I know from personal experience what courage it takes to approach a therapist for help and I always find it a great honour and privilege to be trusted by a client who shares their inner world with me."
Libby lives in Discovery Bay.
