This Advanced Oxidative Stress profile measures total glutathione, reduced glutathione, F2-isoprostane, and 8-OH-2deoxyguanosine from whole blood and urine specimens. Strong medical and scientific evidence points to oxidative stress as an underlying contributing factor to various chronic diseases.

When oxidative stress is curtailed, D N A, mitochondria, cells, tissues, and systems can function properly. The brain, heart, gut, and immune system can perform at peak capacity. This improves the overall picture of cellular health and reduces the risk of oxidative-stress-related health conditions.

Cost: HK$ 4500

What is NAD+?

NAD+, or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is a critical coenzyme found in every cell in your body, and it's involved in hundreds of metabolic processes like cellular energy and mitochondrial health.

NAD+ turn nutrients into energy as a key player in metabolism and work as a coenzyme for proteins that regulate other cellular functions. NAD+ levels decline with age. The reduction of NAD+ levels can lead to mitochondrial dysfunction, which cause redox imbalance, leading to damaged cell proteins, lipids, and DNA. DNA damage can cause chromosomal aberrations and gene mutations, leading to the development of several chronic diseases.

Identifying and optimising NAD+ levels can help enhance oxidative metabolism.

Sample Report

Test for eleven different mycotoxins from 40 species of mould.

Mycotoxins are released by mould (fungi), which can grow on almost any surface. Some of the most prevalent toxins lurk in our homes, schools and offices. Diseases and symptoms linked to mould exposure include allergic rhinitis and asthma, skin rashes, sinusitis, asthma, raised liver enzymes, headaches and fatigue.

Genetically some people are more prone to the toxic effects of mould. They may develop chronic fatigue, muscle pain, sharp stabbing pains, depression, excessive thirst and increased urination, and an odd tendency to experience static shocks.

If you are more sensitive to mould, you may also experience sweats and temperature regulation problems, mental fatigue, memory issues, mood swings, aches and muscle cramps, light sensitivity, numbness and tingling. Some people develop chronic fungal growth in the sinuses or lungs, which do not respond to antibiotics.

This one morning-urine sample can provide important insight into the cause of your health conditions.

Cost: HK$3800

Sample Report

Screen for the presence of 172 different toxic non-metal chemicals found in products like pharmaceuticals, pesticides, packaged foods, household products, and environmental pollution with this simple morning-urine test.

These toxins have been linked to chronic illnesses like cancer, heart disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, autoimmune disorders, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, allergies and more.

This test identifies the presence of organophosphate pesticides, plastic phthalates, benzene from petroleum pollution, xylene and vinyl chloride, pyrethroid insecticides, acrylamide, perchlorate, diphenyl phosphate, ethylene oxide, and acrylonitrile. It also indicates damage to the mitochondria (cell energy production organelles) by measuring Tiglylglycine.

In the same urine sample, we can measure the presence of glyphosate – the world’s most widely produced herbicide linked to chronic health problems including metabolic disorder, diabetes, depression, autism, cardiovascular disease, autoimmune disease and cancers.

Cost: HK$4150

Sample Report: GPL-TOX Profile | Glyphosate

This highly recommended urine test provides a comprehensive snapshot of your metabolism. It tests for certain acids that bacteria and yeast can produce, as well as organic acid wastes from your metabolism and brain neurotransmitters. Abnormal acid levels indicate metabolic and gut imbalances, which can contribute to health challenges like behaviour disorders, hyperactivity, anxiety, depression, fatigue and immune dysfunction.

The test also reports some mycotoxins and Candida yeast levels as well as vitamin and mineral levels - indications of neurotransmitter levels which are otherwise hard to gauge. It can reveal oxidative stress, glutathione sufficiency, toxic effects on the mitochondria and of any oxalates - all of which are linked to multiple chronic illnesses, and so many more markers.

The OAT test can be combined with the GPL Mycotox and/or GPL TOX at a reduced package price to provide comprehensive insight into fatigue, mental disorders and toxic exposure.

Cost: HK$3350

Sample Report

Analyse your red blood cells (RBC) to determine the status of vitamins and minerals in your system. With a small blood sample, we can test for deficiencies or excesses of elements that are of high importance to cell function, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, selenium, copper, zinc, phosphorus, manganese, iron, boron, and molybdenum.

These imbalances can lead to a range of health issues like anaemia, cardiovascular disease, impaired glucose tolerance, immune function challenges, inflammation, gastrointestinal symptoms and more.

RBC element analysis is also useful for assessing ongoing or very recent exposure to specific toxic elements like arsenic, cadmium, lead, methylmercury and thallium that tend to accumulate in red blood cells. Do keep in mind that elevated levels of the toxic elements in these cells reflect recent or ongoing exposure and do not provide information about the net retention of the metals in the body.

What makes this test stand out from many other red blood cells element tests is the fact that the cells are not washed. Your results will not be skewed by the partial loss of important elements that bind to the plasma membrane.

Cost: HK$3850

Sample Report

Evaluate your body’s accumulation and excretion of toxic metals. While acute metal poisoning is rare, chronic low-level exposure to toxic metals can cause significant retention in your body. These toxic heavy metals are linked to adverse health effects and chronic disease including alopecia, bone density, cardiovascular disease, depression, fatigue, gastrointestinal symptoms, hypertension and nutritional deficiencies. For children, common effects include reduced mental performance or ADHD.

To evaluate net retention, your IMI practitioner will compare the levels of metals in your urine before and after the administration of a chelating metal detoxification agent. This sequesters "hidden" metals from deep tissue stores and mobilizes the metals to your kidneys for excretion in the urine.

At the same time, we can gauge your nutritional status and the efficacy of mineral supplementation during metal detoxification therapy. Some types of heavy metal detoxification agents (chelation agents) can significantly increase the excretion of specific nutrient elements such as zinc, copper, manganese and molybdenum, so are best to be monitored.

Cost:
Post-provocation only - HK$1550
Add Essential Elements (minerals) - HK$1950

Biological age tests

This test measures your current rate of aging at the precise moment of testing, rather than your overall biological age. This lets us tell you if you are currently implementing the best protocol to reduce your aging and risk of disease over time.

Telomere length is one of the 9 hallmarks of aging. Your telomere is found at the tip of your chromosome and affects how quickly your cells age.

The length of your telomere is an important determinant of the lifespan of your cells; what happens to your cells at the end of their lifespan and how quickly they arrive at that end is an important indicator or the aging process and a wide variety of diseases.

By measuring your telomere length we can assess your risk of developing preventable diseases like hypertension, cardiovascular disease, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, depression, osteoporosis, and obesity.

Tracking the rate of your telomere shortening (which happens over time) is critical to tracking your overall health and aging.

TruDiagnostic has one of the largest private epigenetic databases in the world, with over 13,000 patients tested to date. By collecting important covariates, they’ve created a state of the art biological age predictor. Building on science already in the literature, they use their large database to create a highly accurate biological age model.

This analysis takes a closer look at epigenetic biological aging, to discover the impact that different systems on your body have on aging – especially your immune system and proteome.

This gives an advanced look into your epigenetic aging and how your immune system, cellular makeup, and hormonal biology is changing your epigenetic age.

Measure your Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR) for advanced insight into your stress response and adrenal function. While you may have “normal” free cortisol levels throughout the day, this doesn’t always mean everything is functioning properly. Your Hypothalamus Pituitary Adrenal axis (HPA) might not be appropriately responding when faced with a stressor. The DUTCH Plus® adds salivary measurements of CAR to the DUTCH Complete™ to bring another important piece of the HPA axis into focus.

A low or blunted CAR may be linked to an underactive HPA axis, excessive psychological burnout, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), sleep issues, trauma (PTSD), chronic fatigue, chronic pain and autoimmune diseases. An elevated Cortisol Awakening Response may be linked to over-reactive stress response from the HPA axis, excessive work or pressures, blood sugar dysregulation, pain upon waking, and depression.

A complete evaluation of your thyroid gland function will help to diagnose thyroid disorders such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer and Hashimoto’s disease.

Weight gain, dry skin, constipation, cold intolerance, puffy skin, hair loss, fatigue, and menstrual irregularity in women can be symptoms of hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), while increased heart rate, anxiety, weight loss, sleep issues, hand tremors, weakness, light sensitivity, and puffy, irritated or dry eyes can signal hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid).

You can also evaluate Reverse triiodothyronine (rT3) - a form of thyroxine that blocks the normal healthy free T3.

Cost: HK$1380

Add Reverse Triiodothyronine rT3: $760

Determine whether your adrenal glands are working properly. High DHEA can indicate acute stress and can cause symptoms like no menstrual periods, a lot of body and facial hair, severe acne, hair loss and fertility problems. Low DHEA can indicate chronic stress and is linked to conditions like diabetes, dementia, low sex drive, osteoporosis and chronic fatigue syndrome.

As DHEA helps to make other hormones like estrogen in women and testosterone in men, it is considered an anti-ageing hormone and is often measured as part of an anti-ageing profile.

Cost: HK$450

Measure your cortisol production levels to determine if they are too high or too low. A low level of cortisol in the blood can be caused by problems that affect the adrenal glands directly, such as Addison’s disease. A high level of cortisol can be caused by conditions including hyperthyroidism, depression, recent surgeries or Cushing Syndrome.

Your test will be done twice in the same day – once in the morning, and again later in the afternoon. This is because your cortisol levels change a lot in the course of a day.

Cost: HK$330

Check for the three main hormone levels that rapidly change during menopause: Estradiol, FSH, LH.

Cost: HK$980
