New children’s book by renowned naturopath provides health tips while paying tribute to Hong Kong.
Is your family struggling with coronavirus-anxiety? Do you want to empower your children with the education to care for their bodies and minds and feel more in control in these uncertain times?
“Covid-19 and You: 20 Ways to Support Your Health” is a charming illustrated book that offers 20 important tips to help families stay physically, mentally and emotionally healthy during the pandemic.
Written by mother of three and Canadian-licensed naturopathic doctor Dr. Ardyce Yik, this book is more than a health guide. It’s a tribute to Hong Kong – our incredibly resilient city that continues to move forward despite months of social unrest, turbulence and change.
As Dr Ardyce Yik shares, “I wrote this book to help children and their families stay healthy during these challenging times. Ultimately, my hope is that this book will bring joy to each reader through its captivating illustrations that remind us of the beautiful city we live in as well as the fact that we are all in this journey together.”
Available at IMI in-clinic and online, parts of the proceeds of the book will be donated to charities and NGOs that support those that have been hit the hardest by the pandemic. Charities include Changing Young Lives Foundation, Health in Action, J Life Foundation, Hope of the City, Move4Migrants, Modern Migrants, IBEL – all of which work tirelessly to support Hong Kong’s disadvantaged communities.
