Identify patterns of disharmony and restore balance

image

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, energy –or qi flows along special pathways called meridians. Illness occurs when there are blockages in energy. The goal of TCM is to restore a healthy flow of energy.

Rather than treating symptoms, TCM gets to the root of the problem, identifying “patterns of disharmony” and restoring flow of qi, yin and yang. Practitioners analyse your pulse and tongue, which map your organ health and constitution. They also take your medical history, appetite, sleep and lifestyle habits into account.Balance is restored using acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, moxibustion, cupping and mind-breath practises like qi gong.
During acupuncture, tiny, sterile needles are inserted into acupoints and left in place for ten to twenty minutes. It isn’t painful, but can cause tingling, aching, warmth or pulling sensations.Acupuncture improves circulation, muscle health, immunity, hormonal health, mood and mental clarity, while reducing stress and pain. Facial acupuncture supports anti-aging, stimulating collagen production.
Our Chinese herbal medicines are of very high quality. Our Chinese herbs follow GMP standards and undergo rigorous testing to ensure they’re free from heavy metals, pesticides and microorganisms. Your formula is prescribed by your TCM practitioner and customised, just for you. They come in granules, which are diluted with hot water and drunk as tea once or twice a day.Our traditional remedies were once favoured by ancient masters, and are now evidenced by scientific research for their therapeutic qualities.
During moxibustion, a stick of mugwort is burned and the resulting heat is applied to different areas of the body to stimulate qi.Particularly useful for immune health, abdominal pain, sore joints and diarrhoea.
Using glass suction cups, our practitioners stimulate stagnant qi and blood flow, releasing energetic blocks and improving circulation.Great for muscular stiffness or pain.
