Wing is committed to helping children and families overcome challenges through the power of play. She’s a registered Play Therapist with the APPTA and specialises in working with kids who have autism, ADHD, anxiety, difficulty developing social skills and those who are undergoing family changes, supporting them as they develop emotional resilience and self-expression.
With over seven years of experience working with children across schools, centres and private practices, Wing has witnessed the profound impact of play therapy in improving the emotional health of children, and their family units.
As well as one on one sessions with children, Wing collaborates closely with families to ensure holistic and long-lasting progress. She facilitates parent, parent-child and grandparent workshops, teaching play skills and games to enhance emotional expression and strengthen relationships between children and their caregivers.
Wing has an MA in Early Childhood Education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She’s a registered Play Therapist with the Australasia Pacific Play Therapy Association; a member of the Association for Play Therapy and a Japan Pastel Hope Art Association (JPHAA) certified instructor.
As a certified AutPlay® therapy provider, she’s trained in play methods that support the needs and mental health of neurodiverse kids – and is experienced in working with kids who have autism and ADHD.
She’s a Messy Play Instructor – which is a sensory rich, open ended type of play that allows kids to express the full breadth of their creativity. Another tool under her belt is Lego – Wing is a Brick-by-Brick® Programme Facilitator (LEGO® Play Included C.I.C. Approved) and has therapy toys to meet the needs of all children.
In her free time, Wing enjoys painting, meditating and yoga, embodying a balanced approach to life and work.
