For years I have been seeing doctors for my son who only prescribe meds to suppress my ASD sons symptoms, however, Dr. Shek is working to find the cause of the symptoms to treat the underlying issues. It is so rare that we have a compassionate and throughly knowledgeable doctor when it comes to PANS/PANDAs and autism. We are so impressed with the changes in our son. It’s remarkable. He’s off all prescription meds, his mood is stable and improved and a noticeable positive change in his demeanor and engagement. He’s no longer hyperactive and much better at regulating himself. I’m seeing more vocalization and communication efforts. Thank you Dr. Shek for being so amazing!!
